Everett Meincke

Everett E. Meincke, 77, of Fargo, ND, (formerly a resident of ManorCare, Fargo) died Saturday, April 11, 2009, in Jamestown Hospital, Jamestown, ND. Everett Ernest Meincke was born September 29, 1931, son of John and Beatta (Ernest) Meincke in Round Prairie Township in Minnesota. He grew up on the family farm. Everett worked for the railroad and was proud of his 31 years of service. In 1984, he went to work for the Larson family on their farm. Everett enjoyed the simple things in life. He enjoyed his coffee, campfires, telling stories and visiting. He loved attending the Rollag Steam Threshers Reunion every year. He was a hardworking man with a good sense of humor. He was meticulous, generous and always had a positive attitude. Everett had deep affection for his dog, Caesar. He will be missed and remembered affectionately by his friends in the Larson-Oberlander families. He was preceded in death by his parents.
