Eunice McQuillan, 88, of Fargo, ND, died Wednesday, December 6, 2006, at MeritCare Palliative Care, Fargo, ND. Eunice Evelyn Rohrer was born June 20, 1918, at Nanson, North Dakota, daughter of Robert and Ruth (Harpster) Rohrer. She attended school in New Rockford and graduated from New Rockford High School. Eunice went on to attend Dakota Business College in Fargo. Eunice married Lester “Mac” McQuillan July 31, 1945, in New Rockford, North Dakota. She worked for Ed Phillips & Sons from 1937 to 1947. Eunice loved to work in her yard and garden. She enjoyed playing cards and was a member of various bridge clubs where she had many friends. Eunice loved to entertain and enjoyed listening and dancing to Big Band music. Two years ago Eunice moved from the family home of 40 years to Trollwood Village. Eunice delighted in participating in the activities offered at Trollwood Village and the friendships she made there. Eunice loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She always had pictures to share. She will be greatly missed by her family and her many wonderful friends. Eunice is survived by her children, Michael (Jane) Fargo, ND; Jane (Jim) Graf, Eden Prairie, MN; Charles (Karen) Silverdale, WA; grandchildren, Chad (Heidi); Mark (Dawn); John (Toni) McQuillan; Ann (Paul) Jarvis; and David and Matthew Wright; Jennifer and Jessica McQuillan; and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lester “Mac”; infant son, Michael John; brother, Robert; sisters, Doris Gangnes and Irma Jacobsen. Visitation: Sunday, December 10, 2006, from 1-3 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold Home, Fargo, ND. Funeral Service: Monday, December 11, 2006, at 10 AM, at Hanson-Runsvold Chapel. Lunch will be served at Trollwood Village Rosewood Room following the service. Burial: Tuesday, December 12, 2006, at 1 PM, Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
