Esther Bergstrom

Esther B. Bergstrom, 86, Fargo died Friday, July 13, 2007 at Elim Home, Fargo. Esther Belinda Tryhus was born on August 13, 1920 in Kindred, ND to Helmer and Marie (Ulsaker) Tryhus. She grew up in Kindred and graduated from high school there. Esther moved to Fargo in 1940 and worked as a waitress. She married Arthur Langlie on May 3, 1942 in Moorhead, MN and they raised their five children in Fargo. He died in 1969. Esther married Don Bergstrom on February 6, 1976 in Java, SD. They moved to Beulah, ND in 1979 and returned to Fargo in 2004. Esther enjoyed fishing, dancing, baking, needlework, crafts and spending time at Lake Sakakwea. Esther is survived by her husband Don, daughters Mary Wateland, Fargo and Eldean (Steve) Hanson, Fargo; son Gordon Langlie, Fargo, six grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Esther is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sons Darrell, who died in 1989, and Roger, who died in 2002. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff of Elim Home for all the love and care they gave Esther. Funeral: 11:00 AM Tuesday, July 17, 2007 at Grace Lutheran Church, Fargo.
