Erna Miller

Erna Miller, 93 of Fargo, formerly of Moorhead, died October 6, 2007 at the Villa Maria Care Center under the care of Hospice and the loving staff of Villa Maria. Erna Ruff was born April 10, 1914 at Lehr, North Dakota, one of five children born to Jacob and Anna (Scherbenske) Ruff. Erna grew up and attended school in Lehr, ND where she worked on the family farm. She married Paul Miller on November 25, 1937 in Lehr, ND. They lived in Moorhead. Erna worked various jobs before she started at Concordia College in the Dietary Department. She retired in 1990. Erna is survived by six nieces and nephews, Eugene Landseidel, Delphy Haglund, Cindy Howey, Dale Bittner, Darrell Bittner and Jeanette Nickisch. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Paul, daughter LeeAnn, two brothers, Walter and Allen Ruff and two sisters Edna Landseidel and Freida Bittner. Funeral: Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 11:00 AM at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Visitation: One hour prior to services at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home. Burial: Moorhead Memorial Gardens, Moorhead, MN.
