Emily Lindquist, 74 of Moorhead, MN, died Saturday, April 21, 2007 at Innovis Health, Fargo, ND. Emily Caroline Lindquist was born January 11, 1933 to Edwin and Agnes (Doran) Olson in Hawley, MN. She graduated from Oak Grove High School and attended Concordia College. She was a member of the Concordia Choir where she met her future husband Marlin Lindquist. They were married August 21, 1954 at Solem Lutheran Church in Hawley, MN. She was a school teacher and worked for Nels Vogel Music, and was also a homemaker. They retired in the mid 1990’s. Marlin died in 2000. She was an active member of Elim Lutheran Church. She loved gardening, singing in the choir and spending time with her family. She is survived by one daughter, Diane (Jeff Huggett) Lindquist, Edina, MN; two sons, Mark (RoxAnn) Lindquist, Detroit Lakes, MN and Dan (Maggie) Lindquist, Fargo, ND; one brother, Roland (Bernice) Olson, Hawley, MN; one sister, Renee Jameson, West Fargo, ND; nine grandchildren, Elizabeth, Emily and Ellen Lindquist, Maegan and Eleanor Lindquist, Taylor, Spencer, Sophie and Sam Huggett. Emily was preceded in death by her husband, Marlin. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at 2:00 PM at Elim Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 24, 2007 from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, followed by a prayer service at 7:00 PM Burial: Solem Lutheran Cemetery, Hawley, MN.
