Elvera Evelyn (Anderson) Jacobson died on July 10, 2018 at Sheyenne Care Center, Valley City, ND.
Elvera Evelyn Anderson was born October 19, 1925 in Battle Lake, Minnesota, the daughter of George and Caroline (Glende) Anderson. The family later moved to Moorhead, MN.
Elvera attended and graduated from Moorhead High School in 1943. After graduation she attended Interstate Business College until she was offered a job as a stenographer. She moved to Washington, D.C. where she worked for the US Government. She later moved back to Fargo to live with her parents.
Elvera and Lloyd Jacobson were united in marriage in Las Vegas on June 18, 1949. They made their home in Ventura, California later moving to Magalia, CA. Elvera and Lloyd were blessed with two sons, David and Richard.
Elvera worked as the church secretary for the Paradise Lutheran Church for many years.
Upon her retirement, Elvera moved to Fargo, ND to care for her sisters Elsie and Lorraine. She enjoyed the time she had with her sisters. She especially enjoyed the times they would spend at Little Pine Lake in Perham, MN.
Elvera enjoyed reading, needlepoint and crossword puzzles. She was a member of Olivet Lutheran Church of Fargo.
Elvera is survived by her son, David of Jamestown, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd, son Richard, her parents and sisters, Elsie Anderson and Lorraine Haas.
