Elizabeth Dean

Elizabeth Dean went home to be with her Savior September 5, 2009 at Elim Care Center in Fargo, ND. Elizabeth Heaton was born in Fargo, ND on November 25, 1913. She married Clifford Dean in Sisseton, SD on January 20, 1937. Elizabeth worked at JC Penny’s in her younger years. In later years she served many years as a volunteer in “The Cove” the gift shop at Elim. She enjoyed serving people and always had a smile and a hug. She became a resident about a year ago and after a period of adjustment she grew to enjoy life there, under the care of the staff who she spoke very highly of. Elizabeth had positive attitude in spite of adversity in her life which is a testament to her faith in Christ. She spoke often of her faith and was a living witness to her relationship with him. While on earth she suffered from eye problems now she sees with clear eyes. She will be greatly missed She is survived by her brother Arthur Heaton, Laporte, TX and sister, Virginia Belle, Riverdale, MN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford who died November 24, 1989. Memorials are preferred to Camp Joy Bible Camp. Memorial service 2:00 PM, Thursday, September 10, 2009, at Elim Care Center, Fargo.
