Eleanor Jean Pris, 88, of Fargo died on Friday, April 27, 2012 at Bethany on 42nd, Fargo, ND. She was born March 15, 1924, the daughter of Martha and John Solheim near Minot, North Dakota. She and her brother Howard, were raised on the Weigelt farm north of Fessenden among her eleven aunts and uncles and grandparents Gottfried and Justine Weigelt. She married Harold C. Pris on July 4, 1943 in Fessenden. They moved to LaMoure, North Dakota in 1954. Eleanor worked as an assistant country assessor in Wells County before marriage and later as a tax preparer, receptionist at the LaMoure Clinic, and as assistant to the administrator of the LaMoure hospital. Eleanor is survived by her sons, Ronald (Judy) Pris of West Fargo and Wayne (Georgia) Pris of Somers, MT; 4 grandchildren, Steven (Natalie) of Fargo; Anne (Jason) Crimbchin, Nampa, ID, Andrew (Suzanne) of Clifton Park, N.Y., Jeremy (Kelly) of Kalispell, MT: nine great grandchildren, Jordan and Tanner Pris, Elle, Will, and Wyatt Crimbchin, Thomas and Alexis Pris, Riley Josie Pris. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold. Funeral: Wednesday, May 2, 2012, 1:00 PM at Bethany on 42nd, Fargo, ND. Visitation: One hour prior to services. Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND. Memorials are preferred to Hospice of the Red River Valley.
