Edward “Fred” Nesemeier, 59, of Fargo, ND, died Wednesday, January 10, 2007, at MeritCare Palliative Care, Fargo, ND. Fred fought a courageous battle of Ocular Melanoma, surrounded by his family and friends. Edward Fred Nesemeier born June 8, 1947, at Fargo, North Dakota, son of Edward and Vivvian (Malstrom) Nesemeier. After graduating from high school, he began farming in the Amenia area. As he worked his way through college at North Dakota State University, where he completed a degree in Agricultural Economics. He continued to farm after college. Fred was united in marriage with Kathy Weber on June 8, 1982, in Casselton, ND. Fred and Kathy made their home in Fargo, ND, where he was a real estate agent for the past 20 years. Fred is survived by his wife, Kathy, Fargo, ND; his mother, Vivvian Nesemeier, Fargo, ND; two sons, Brenton and Preston Nesemeier, both of Fargo, ND; two step-children, Nola (Jerry) Radermacher, Casselton, ND; and Thomas Weber, Minneapolis, MN; his brother, Dallas (Jackie) Nesemeier, Casselton, ND; and four sisters, Denise (Steve) Golberg, Deer Creek, MN; Ann Bagley, Albuquerque, NM; Janet (Ed) McConnell, Casselton, ND; and Nancy Ames, San Diego, CA; and four step-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Nesemeier; and father-in-law, Willis Peterson. Memorial Service: Saturday, January 13, 2007, at 10:30 AM, at Olivet Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND.
