Edith Sullivan, 79, of Fargo, ND, died Thursday, April 2, 2009, at her home under the care of Hospice of the Red River Valley. Edith Corrine Anderson was born August 10, 1929, in Fargo, North Dakota. She was raised by Mary and Tobias Pederson in Walcott, North Dakota. She graduated from Walcott High School. Edith attended Concordia College in Moorhead, Minnesota. Edith married Norris Olson June 18, 1948, in Moorhead, Minnesota. They lived in Kindred, North Dakota. She worked for Bell Telephone Company for 30 years. Edith married Daniel Sullivan September 3, 1976, in Aberdeen, South Dakota. They lived in Fargo. Edith retired in 1990. Edith loved to be with her family, the bigger the gathering the better. Edith was thrilled by children, particularly her grandchildren, and most of all at Christmas. Edith enjoyed the adventure of travel, long walks, kittens, bird watching and winters spent in Rockport, Texas. Edith is survived by four sons, Greg (Linda) Olson, Fargo, ND; Jeffrey (Diana) Olson, Horace, ND; Clay (Lori) Olson, Fargo, ND; Rob (Trish) Olson, Fargo, ND; and a daughter, Nancy (Chris) Magnotto, Rochester, MN; 15 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Edith was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Service: Monday, April 6, 2009, at 11:00 AM, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home Chapel, Fargo, ND.
