Justin was born May 2, 1952, to George and Yola Reynolds at Albany, New York. Justin spent his early years in Norway, Denver, and finally Fargo, where he graduated from Fargo North High School.
He went on to obtain his undergraduate degree in Political Science from NDSU, and a masters from the University of Mary. His banking career started at US Bank, followed by Community First Bank, where he was employed as a Corporate Credit Officer. Justin later returned to, and retired from US Bank. During his banking career, Justin was very involved in civic and community groups. While employed as Vice President of Collegiate Peaks Bank in Buena Vista, Colorado, he established the Rotary Club of Buena Vista, CO, and served on the Colorado College Board. Justin enjoyed economics, Civil War history, and teaching undergraduate/graduate economics and finance courses at the University of Mary. Justin was also an avid shooter and traveled to many tournaments with his daughter Kathy. He was a wonderful teacher, a ballet dad who mastered bobby pins and ballet buns. He sat through many of his son's and daughters' Nutcracker productions, and followed his son, John's performances. He will be missed for his sense of humor, kind and playful spirit, his intelligence, and quick wit.
Justin leaves behind his wife, Kay, children: Christopher (Fargo), Laura (Atlanta, GA), John (Fargo), Elizabeth (Aaron Bauer, Atlanta, GA), Kathryn (Brian Schott, Fargo), and her mother Mary. Justin also leaves behind his father, George Reynolds (Fargo), his brother, Scott (Fertile, MN), and many loved nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Yola Reynolds.
A Memorial Service will be held at Friday, January 22, at 5:00 at 601 4th Street South Fargo, ND with Rev. James Gross and Rev. Wenceslaus Katanga officiating.
