Duane Thue

Duane A. Thue, 74 of Horace, ND, passed away peacefully, with his children at his side, Saturday, August 22, 2009 at MeritCare Hospital, Fargo, ND. Duane was born April 2, 1935 to Albert and Inga Thue in Walcott, ND, where he was raised. Most of his career he farmed the land he grew up on near Walcott, ND. He is survived by two daughters, Connie (Jon) Aspelund, Lakeville, MN and Janelle (Ron) Van Deusen, Princeton, MN; two sons, Randy (Melanie) Thue, Elk River, ND and Mike Thue, West Fargo, ND; sisters, Irene (Herbert) Dahlsed, Moorhead, MN, Helen Sauvageau, Moorehead, MN, Glorella (Kenneth) Sveum, West Fargo, ND; and Adeline Loge, Fargo, ND; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Peter, Ione, Effie, Marian and Alida. Memorial Service: Tuesday, August 25, 2009, 10:00 AM at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Inurnment: Viking Lutheran Cemetery, rural Wyndmere, ND.
