Douglas Gault

Douglas C. Gault, 56, of Felton, MN, died Monday, April 13, 2009, at Innovis Hospital, Fargo. Douglas Charles Gualt was born January 12, 1953, in Fargo, North Dakota, son of Marion C. and Shirley (Block) Gault. He grew up in rural Mapleton, North Dakota, and graduated from Mapleton High School in 1971. Douglas served in the US Air Force as a Medic for four years stationed in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Douglas attended North Dakota State University for one year. He worked for UPS for a year before he graduated from North Dakota State College of Science in 1979. Douglas married Mary Fowler February 28, 1981, in Ortonville, Minnesota. Douglas worked for Jay Davis Chevrolet in Fargo for one year before working for Corwin Collision Center from 1980 to 2008. Douglas is survived by his wife, Mary, Felton, MN; a brother, Keith (Mary Ann) Vanattan, Las Vegas, NV; five sisters, Kathleen (Ken) Harmon, Fairfax, VA; Kay (John) Marroney, Orlando, FL; Shirley (Ernie) Drewlow, Barnesville, MN; Sue (Denny) Kelly, Argusville, ND; Judy (Les) Manska, Pillager, MN; and many nieces and nephews; and great nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Karen Cox; and nephew Stewart Kelly. Funeral Service: Friday, April 17, 2009, at 2:00 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home Chapel, Fargo, ND.
