Dorothy O. Wolski, age 88, of Fargo, ND died Monday, July 4, 2011, in Sanford Medical Center Palliative Care Unit, Fargo. Dorothy Erickson was born on November 17, 1922, in Kindred, ND. She attended Pleasant Consolidated School, Christine, ND and graduated in 1940. She moved to Valley City, ND in 1941 where she was employed by W.W. Woolworth. On October 8, 1942, she married William F. Wolski in Valley City, ND. They lived in Huntington Beach, CA, for four years, where William was stationed and discharged from the US Army in 1944. Dorothy worked in retail during those years. They returned to Valley City, ND in 1947, where she was employed at Foss Drug for several years; later employed by the ND State Motor Vehicle Department. Dorothy was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church. In 1975, Dorothy and William moved to Fargo, ND. In 1982, she graduated from Moorhead Vocational Technical Institute, receiving a general secretary diploma. Dorothy was an active member of Olivet Lutheran Church, Fargo; member of Priscilla Circle and joyously sang in the choir. Dorothy is survived by daughter, Jacqueline (Donald) Bohner, Wolverton, MN; daughter, Debra (William) Flach, Chanhassen, MN; two grandchildren, Nathan Bohner, Wolverton, MN; Jennifer Bartlett, Manhattan, KS; and a sister, Jane Lindgren, Fargo, ND. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, William F. Wolski, her parents and seven siblings. Funeral service: Friday, July 8, 2011, at 2:00pm at Olivet Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND. Visitation: One hour prior to funeral service at the church. Interment: Memory Gardens, Valley City, ND.
