Dorothy E. Taylor, 93, passed away on July 1st at Presbyterian Homes of Bloomington,MN. She formerly resided in Fargo for almost 70 years.
Dorothy was born December 7, 1919, in Fergus Falls, MN to Blaine and Anna Kruger. She attended schools in Fergus Falls graduating in 1937. Dorothy went on to attend Moorhead State Teachers College earning a degree in Education. She taught in Brandon, MN for one year. On March 27, 1942, she married Stanley Taylor. Following World War II they moved to Fargo, ND.
Dorothy was actively involved in various groups including The Northside Quilters, The Red Hat Ladies, bridge clubs, and was also a volunteer at Merit Care for many years. She was an active member of Elim Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, and brother. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Gaylen (David) Pirri, Bloomington, MN; grandchildren, Alison (Matt) Sneller, and Adam (Kim) Pirri; great grandchildren, Lilly, Aidan, Isabella, and Charlie; daughter, Starleen (Ken) Munch, Sioux Falls, SD; grandchildren, Eric (Shelley) Munch, and Tracy (Phil) Kolb; great grandchildren, Annika, Sydney, Kennedy and Meredith.
