Dorothy Johnson

Dorothy N. Johnson, 93, of Fargo, ND, died Tuesday, August 28, 2007, at her home, under the care of her family. Dorothy Norma Olson was born August 22, 1914, to Oscar and Nancy (Peterson) Olson, outside of Elbow Lake, Minnesota. She attended country school near Erdahl, MN, and graduated from Fergus Falls High School in 1933. Dorothy graduated from the Minneapolis Business College in 1938, and went to work for the FHA through 1948. She worked for the Clay County ASC office in Moorhead, MN, from 1955, until her retirement in 1979. She is preceded in death by her parents; three brothers and two sisters. Dorothy is survived by three children, Pamela (Daniel) Erickson, West Fargo, ND; Patrice (Bernie) Kring, Fargo, ND; and Bradley (Sandy) Johnson, West Fargo, ND; two brothers, Corrin Olson, Moorhead, MN; and Burt Olson, Albuquerque, NM; three sisters, Kathleen Woessner, Elbow Lake, MN; Joan Anderson, Fargo, ND; and Val Jean Michalewicz, Huntington Beach, CA; grandchildren, Eric (Dani) Fluge, Joseph (Kate) Fluge, Scott (Melissa) Fluge, Amanda Kring, Amber Kring, Makenzie Kring and Andrea Johnson; and three great-grandchildren, Grace, Nora and Samantha Fluge. Funeral Services: Saturday, September 1, 2007, at 11:00 AM, at Hope Lutheran Church – North Campus, Fargo, ND. Visitation: Friday, August 31, 2007, from 5-7:30 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Prayer Service: Friday, at 7:30 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold. Burial: Ness Lutheran Cemetery, Elbow Lake, MN.
