Dorothy Adams

Dorothy May Adams, 87, of Fargo, died Monday, February 20th, 2012, at Rosewood on Broadway in Fargo, ND. Dorothy was born August 1st, 1924, to parents Henry and Otilla (Fick) Adams in Verona, ND. She graduated from Verona High School and later moved to Fargo and attended Fargo Business School. Dorothy worked as a secretary in the insurance industry and was employed by New York Life Insurance, Western Life Insurance, The St. Paul Companies, and Lincoln Mutual throughout her career. She retired in 1995. Dorothy is survived by her “adopted family”: Arlene Huseby; Dave and Pat Huseby and family; Chuck and Carol Rice and family; Shirley Ralston and family; and Duane Bissonnette and family. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Walter. Dorothy enjoyed her time at Rosewood and her family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff of Rosewood on Broadway for their compassionate care. Memorial Service: Thursday, February 23, 2012, 2:00 PM at Pontoppidan Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND. Visitation: One hour prior to services at the church.
