Doris Flaig

Doris K. Flaig, 84, of Fargo, ND, died Tuesday, September 18, 2007, at Elim Care Center, Fargo, ND. Doris Kathren Hansen was born May 4, 1923, at Fisher, Minnesota, daughter of Walter and Marie Hansen. She was raised in Starkweather, North Dakota. Doris moved to Sacramento, California, where she married Emanuel H. Flaig on June 18, 1943. They moved to Fredonia, North Dakota, and then to Fargo, in 1957. She worked at the Cass County Courthouse, later becoming County Clerk of Court. Doris retired in 1983, after 26 years. Doris is survived by a son, James (Gerry) Fargo, ND; two daughters, Barbara (Richard) Dale; and Patty (Jim) Hill, all of West Fargo, ND; six grandchildren, Susan (Nate) Brenneman; Mike Dale; Matt and Jeremy Flaig; Aaron and Amy Hill; and five great-grandchildren, Nick, Taylor and Seth Brenneman; Lexie and Tyler Flaig. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Leo Hansen; and sister, Ruby Redfield. Funeral Service: Friday, September 21, 2007, at 11 AM, at Peace Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND. Visitation: Thursday, September 20, 2007, from 4-6 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Burial: Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, ND.
