Don David Miller, 76, Fargo, died Wednesday, October 10 at Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, ND.
Don was born May 6, 1942 in Bottineau, ND to John and Olga (Bakken) Miller. The family later moved to Fargo, ND, where he attended Agassiz Junior High and Fargo Central High School, where he excelled in Track & Field and Football.
Following high school he was employed with Hennings Painting and Decorating for a number of years before taking a position with Swanson & Youngdale Commercial and Industrial Painting Contractors, becoming the Moorhead Division Manager until the end of his career.
In 1966 he married Janice Score at Hope Lutheran Church, Fargo. Together Don and Janice raised two sons, Jason and Justin, and enjoyed summers at their cabin on Star Lake, MN. He and Jan later lived year round on Big Cormorant Lake MN, before returning to Fargo in 2002.
Don is survived by his wife, Janice; son, Jason (Auechan), Fargo; sister, Jeanette Taylor, St. Paul, MN; nieces and nephews, Gary (Lynn) Hennings, Kathy (Nick) Tudora, and Keith (Tammy) Taylor.
He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Justin; sister, Marian Hennings; brothers-in-law, Robert Hennings and Mel Taylor.
