Dolores Rath

Dolores J. Rath, 84, of Fargo, ND, died Sunday, August 9, 2009, at her home in Fargo. Dolores Jean Bireley was born on February 24, 1925 to Frank and Myrtle (Dommen) Birely in Fargo, ND. She attended school in Fargo and graduated from Fargo High School in 1943. She worked for Woolworth’s Dime Store for 8 years. On January 20, 1951, Dolores married Albert Rath at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Fargo. Albert died on May 8, 1997. Dolores enjoyed the company of her friends and family, and devoted much of her time to the church. She will be dearly missed to all that were close to her. Dolores leaves behind two sons, Jeffrey Rath, Bloomington, MN and Patrick (Beverly) Rath, Coon Rapids, MN; one daughter, Gail (Kevin) Brennan, Fergus Falls, MN, one brother, Dwight Bireley, Lisbon, ND. She also leaves seven grandchildren and two great-grandsons. Funeral Service: Friday, August 14, 2009, 10:00 AM at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND. Visitation: Thursday, August 13, 2009 from 5-7pm at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo. Prayer Service: 6:30pm Thursday, at the funeral home. Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
