Diane Beling

Diane L. Beling, 60, Fargo, ND, died Wednesday, August 1, 2007, at home with her family by her side. She was born March 29, 1947, in Fargo, ND, to Loren and Esther Grant and raised/educated in Enderlin, ND. Diane and husband, Dale Beling, had over 22 happy years together, which included many memorable travel adventures with their friends and family. Diane was Treasurer of the MeritCare Auxiliary and also worked as an Assistant Coordinator/Buyer for MeritCare Gifts. She truly loved her work and enjoyed the many buying trips with her treasured friend and gift shop coordinator, Lisa Brooks. The day of her death was also the anniversary of 19 years of employment with MeritCare. A strong, faithful Christian, longtime member of Olivet Lutheran Church and current member of Bethel Evangelical Free Church, Diane was very active with the Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) program, teaching children and studying the Bible with friends. Diane and Dale were recently honored by the NDSU Alumni Association, each receiving Honorary Alumnus Awards for their years of giving countless hours of time, talent and energy to promote and support NDSU in many different capacities. Diane leaves behind her husband, Dale Beling of Fargo, ND; her mother, Esther Grant of Lisbon, ND; her daughters, JoAnn (CDR Cameron) Waggoner of Casapesenna, Italy, and Christi (Dr. Corey) Teigen of Fargo, ND; her stepchildren, Kim (Steve) Mann of Wahpeton, ND, Steve Beling of Fargo, ND, and Michael (Michelle) Beling of Savage, MN; her brothers, Jeff Grant of Sheldon, ND, Erik Grant of Lisbon, ND, and David (Debbie) Grant of West Fargo, ND; nine grandchildren, Ashley (Garry) Fliflet, Alex Mann, Aubree Mann, Maxwell Menard, Josh Teigen, Madelaine Waggoner, Luke Teigen, Emily Teigen and Jacob Teigen; and one great-grandson, Jackson Fliflet. She was preceded in death by her father, Loren Grant and her brother, Chad Grant. Memorials may be given to Pulse Outreach or KFNW Radio Station.
