Delores Weinkauf

Delores Weinkauf, 87, of Fargo, ND, died Sunday, April 11, 2010, at Villa Maria in Fargo. Delores L. Wehner was born March 12, 1923, in Taylor Township in Minnesota, to August and Mathilda (Marquardt) Wehner. She attended school in Fairmount, North Dakota. Delores married Darrell Weinkauf on February 2, 1942, in Wheaton, Minnesota. Darrell and Delores farmed at Fairmount, until they moved to Fargo 1956. She worked as ward secretary at St. John’s for 24 years. Delores loved antiques, collectibles and fishing. She was active in the women’s auxiliary of the Moose Lodge. Delores is survived by her husband, Darrell; a son, Dennis Weinkauf; a daughter, Sherrill Weinkauf, all of Fargo, ND; a sister, Elvonne (Pete) Erdahl, Rosholt, SD; two nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Service: Friday, April 16, 2010, at 1:00 PM, at Riverview Place Chapel, 5300 12th St. S., Fargo, ND. Visitation: One hour prior to the service at Riverview Place. Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
