Delores Rachel Moser, 88, Fargo, ND, died Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at Essentia Health in Fargo, ND.

Delores "Dee" Moser was born October 8, 1932, at Gackle, ND, the daughter of John G and Othilda (Domdie) Presler. Dee attended the local rural school and graduated from Gackle High School in 1950. She then taught grades 1-8 at a country school in the Gackle area.

She and Raymond Moser were married September 27, 1953, and lived and worked in St. Louis Park, MN, for a few years before moving back to ND, first in the Jamestown, ND area, then in Grand Forks, ND, where she worked for the telephone company as an operator. In 1967 they relocated to Fargo, ND, where she continued to live following the death of her husband in 1973. She enjoyed being active and around people, so she volunteered with many organizations. Red Cross was one of her favorites, and she traveled with them to several disasters around the USA, including an earthquake in California and a hurricane in Louisiana. She sure had stories to tell of the destruction, people and snakes! She served as a representative for her church, Calvary UMC in Fargo, at the New Life Center men's shelter in Fargo.

She was an active member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Fargo for many years and enjoyed being part of the UMW circle and the kitchen crew. She loved gathering with her children, grandchildren, and, more recently, great-grandchildren, making our annual Christmas feast of knoephla, sauerkraut, and sausage. It was great fun passing down the skill of making the dough then having all sit around the kitchen island cutting the pieces "not too thick"! She really missed the gathering with her sisters as JP's Girls (John Presler, their dad) for many years for their potluck, card playing, and sleepover! Age and distance took that event away from them.
She is survived by her children, Ricki (Dave) Shaw and Ryan Moser (Pam Marek), all of Moorhead, MN; 4 grandchildren, Erin Shaw, Andrew (Emily) Shaw, Jaime (Morgan Gross) Shaw, Toni (Matt) Evensen; 2 great-grandsons, River and Soren Evensen; 2 sisters, Alvina Heidinger, Jamestown, ND, Gertrude Kassman, Nyssa, OR, brother Walter (Adeline) Presler, Jamestown, ND.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ray, in 1973, and her son Russell Ray Moser in 2007 along with four brothers, and ten sisters.
