David Ralph Olson was born in Fargo, ND to Ralph and Eunice Olson on April 25, 1952. He attended Grafton State School for Developmentally Disabled from 1962-1976; transferred to the Heart of America Human Services Activity Center in Rugby, March 4, 1976. June 18, 1986 he moved to Agassiz Enterprises, Inc. in Grand Forks where he worked at Bonanza Restaurant and Days Inn Motel. He moved to Fargo in the Spring of 1997 where he worked at Hardees, the Radisson Hotel and Chuck E. Cheese.
David retired in 2008. He enjoyed bowling, Special Olympics, attending Red Willow Bible Camp, music and time with family.
David is survived by his mother, Eunice, Fargo; brother, Barry Olson, Hillsboro; sister, Gloria (Bob) Nysveen, Fargo; nephew, Chad (Irina) Nysveen, West Fargo; niece, Amy (Tim) Welter, Mapleton; and several great nephews and nieces; an uncle, Clyde (Jeanne) Olson, Hunter, ND; and several cousins.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ralph E. Olson; grandparents, Ted and Helen Olson, William and Floy Power; and several aunts and uncles.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to donor's choice.
