David M. Larson, 76 of Fargo, died Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at his home under the care of Hospice.
David was born November 6, 1939 at Hillsboro, ND to parents E.L. and Evelyn (Ellingrud) Larson. He grew up in north Fargo, where he graduated from Fargo Central High school and later went on to attend NDSU for 2 years.
David worked for the Fargo Forum for many years and also owned and operated the Perkins restaurant in downtown Fargo. He married Rosalie Henderson on September 11, 1965 in Osage, MN. David loved all sports and would umpire and referee baseball, football, and basketball games.
He is survived by his wife, Rosalie, of Fargo; children, Michael David (Julie) Larson and Kim Larson, both of Fargo; sisters, Pat (Neal) Bjornson of San Antonio, TX, Joyce Galbraith of West Fargo, and Yvonne Klabo of Fargo, and grandchildren, Allison, Katlin, and Susie.
David was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Bill Larson.
