David Lee Anderson, 70, previously of Sisseton, South Dakota and recently of Fargo, North Dakota, passed away on Monday, March 20, 2017 in Fargo, ND at the VA Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 22 at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home in Fargo, ND with the Honorable Fern Cloud of Pejuhutazizi Presbyterian Church officiating. There will be no burial as David’s wishes were to be cremated.
David was born in Wenatchee, Washington to Lester and May (Renn) Anderson on August 1, 1946. He married Claudette Cloud on December 23, 1984 in Sturgis, South Dakota. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Air Force. David was involved in ministering to Native American people. Along with his wife, he would travel to preach the gospel all over South Dakota, the surrounding states, Oklahoma and some southern states.
David is preceded in death by his mother, May Anderson; father, Lester Anderson and daughter, Alpha Keeble-Hernandez.
David is survived by his wife, Claudette Cloud-Anderson; daughter, Misty (George) Mandas and their son, Enrique Mandas; son, Patrick Anderson; son, Everett Keeble and his children, Daniel, Anthony, Ian, Nevaeh, and Naomi Keeble; daughter, Rebekah Cloud (fiancé Cory Bertram) and their children, Isobelle Audrain and Kairi Bertram-Cloud (yet unborn); brother, Jack Anderson and his spouse; brother, Vern (Liuba) Anderson; granddaughter, Victoria (Cody) Leske and their children Adrian and Greyson Leske, and granddaughter, Amanda Hernandez.
