Dale Boss

Dale Boss, 70, of Fargo, ND, died Saturday, March 20, 2010, at his home under the care of his family and Hospice of the Red River Valley. Dale Howard Boss was born March 23, 1939, in Jamestown, North Dakota, son of Jesse and Mildred (Hagel) Boss. He graduated from high school in Minot, North Dakota. Dale served in the U.S. Navy from 1956-1960. Dale married Joyce Anderson September 9, 1961, in Belgrade, Minnesota. They lived in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, while Dale worked for Nabisco. They moved to Fargo in 1962, where Dale started his 39 years career with Hornbachers. Dale is survived by his wife, Joyce, Fargo, ND; two sons, Brett Boss, Fresno, CA; and Todd Boss, Albert Lea, MN; two daughters, Lesley (Rick) Meyer, Fargo, ND; and Lynn Boss, West Fargo, ND; his sister, Mary Cossette, Fargo, ND; six grandchildren, Brett, Kristin, Jason, Jennifer, Alyssa and Nicole; and three great-grandchildren, Morgan, Jaelyn and Aiden. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Lee. Dale will be missed as a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. Memorials are preferred to Hospice of the Red River Valley, Fargo, ND. Funeral Service: Saturday, March 27, 2010, at 1:00 PM, at St. Anne and Joachim Catholic Church, Fargo, ND. Visitation: Friday, March 26, 2010, from 5-7:30 PM, at the church. Prayer Vigil: Friday, March 26, 2010, at 7:30 PM, at the church. Burial: Holy Cross Cemetery – South, Fargo, ND.
