Cynthia (Cindy) Beatrice Fritz, 66, passed away on December 11, 2023, in her home. Cindy was born on March 4, 1957, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Armin Koehler in 1978; father, Randall Fritz in 1999; grandmother, Beatrice Oliver Koehler in 2001; brother-in-law, Glenio Trindade in 2012; and mother, Lois Koehler Fritz in 2018.

Cindy grew up and attended high school in West Fargo, ND, graduating in 1975. She later married Daniel Zinck in 1983, and had two beautiful children, Kyle and Alison. They later divorced.

Right out of high school she worked at McDonald's. She then started working at GNC/Golden Harvest for many years. Her secondary job was working at the Sunset Motel with her daughter, Alison. She also worked for West Fargo Public School District at Westside Elementary. In 1999 she moved to Cheney Middle School as a custodian, where Alison also attended middle school at that time. She then went to work at the Lodoen Community Center. Cindy was a hard worker and always took pride in her work.

Cindy loved spending time with her family and friends. She had a close relationship with her sister Linda, which became one of her most cherished relationships in her life. She loved her children and grandchildren deeply and was so proud of them. Her friends were also a staple in her life. She appreciated all the support, kindness, and laughs she received over the years. Including friends that enjoyed laying in the sun with her, soaking up some rays any chance she could get.

Cindy also had a great sense of humor and loved sarcasm. She always had a one liner ready at a moment’s notice, waiting for the perfect delivery. Sarcastic humor was a core piece of her personality, going from cheesy humor to dark humor at a moment’s notice. You never knew what you were going to get and always left the audience on the edge of their seat. Cindy was a very upfront and honest person and always spoke her mind. She spoke her truth, whether you agreed with it or not. She knew who she was and never apologized for it. She never left a room without being known. Once you met Cindy, you knew it was someone you could never forget. She will be forever missed.

Cindy is survived by her children, Kyle (Kellynn) Zinck, of Davenport and Alison (Adam) Schlecht of West Fargo; sister, Linda Trindade of Fargo; grandchildren, Hailey Zinck, Leah Schlecht, Brady Schlecht, Colten Johnston; niece, Stephanie Trindade (Jesse) of Las Vegas; nephew, Andre Trindade and his son, Leo Trindade of Fargo; cousins, Bob Fritz of Arizona, Brad Pirmantgen of Austin, MN, Toni Pirmantgen of North Carolina; Brian (Dot) Pirmantgen of Austin, MN and Kelly Pirmantgen of Austin, MN.

The family wants to thank all of her friends and staff at Hospice.
