Craig Brown

Craig E. Brown, 58, of Fargo, ND, died Saturday, January 28, 2012, at Sanford Health, Fargo. Craig Edward Brown was born January 30, 1953, in Fargo, ND, to Bernard and Oriet (Helland) Brown. He was raised in Fargo. He was baptized and confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church. Craig graduated from North High School in 1971 and maintained several cherished friendships for over 50 years. He worked at Walman Optical for over 20 years and he continued his optical career at Soderberg Optical. Craig also worked at the Fargo Dome where he loved joking with co-workers and patrons. He married Cynthia Clark in 1982. They had 29 wonderful years together. Craig loved spending time at the area lakes and with his family. He was one of the original Fargo Disc Golf League members, a very dedicated Vikings fan and a wonderful friend to all of his loved ones. He enjoyed listening to music and playing his harmonica. Craig is survived by his wife, Cynthia; brother, Lee (Marti) Brown; sister, Dana Nichelson, all of Fargo, ND; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins, whom he loved very much. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Oriet Brown; brother, Kevin; and his grandparents, Gladys Helland; and Ed and Tillie Brown. He will be greatly missed by all. Memorial Service: Saturday, February 4, 2012, at 2:00 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home Chapel, Fargo. Visitation: One hour prior to the service. Burial: Sunset Memorial Gardens, Fargo, ND.
