Cory Terlecky

Cory Terlecky, 40, of Fargo, ND, died Sunday, May 15, 2016 at her home.

Cory was born August 16, 1975 at the Southeast Hospital in Washington, DC to Connie Carlson and Walter Terlecky. After the family moved to Moorhead, MN in 1978, she attended schools there and graduated from Moorhead High School.

After high school, Cory studied at both MState and MSUM Moorhead. She travelled to Mexico and Guatemala through MSUM for a student exchange program after which she was fluent in Spanish. Cory also travelled to London, Dubai, Portugal, Kenya and Germany.

After she received her Associates Degree in Accounting, she worked for Vanity in Fargo. She also worked at restaurants in the area including at Petro, and was currently working as a server at Mexican Village. She enjoyed people, travelling, languages, and had a special interest in exploring different cultures.

Cory was engaged to Ward Henderson. She loved her family and enjoyed going to family reunions.

Cory is survived by her father, Walter, West Fargo, ND; mother, Connie Carlson, Moorhead, MN; brother, John (Jennifer) Sherman, Detroit, MI; sister, Jessie (Marc) Stubstad, Fargo, ND; fiance, Ward Henderson, Fargo, ND; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; her uncle, Carl Carlson; aunt, Patricia Stalemo.
