Corrine “Corky” Ann Morgan, 76 of Park River, North Dakota, passed away peacefully in her sleep at 9:28 AM, Monday, September 27, 2021 at Eventide Care Unit with Hospice of the Red River Valley in Fargo, ND.
She was born February 16, 1945 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to Raymond and Bridgett (Sobolik) Morgan.
Surviving is her mother Bridget (Sobolik) Studney of Grand Forks; two sons, Stephen (Kristin) Spickenreuther of West Fargo and Kenneth (Tracy) Elliott of Peoria, AZ; 6 grandsons, Matthew Spickenreuther, Joshua (Katie) Elliott, Zachary (Vanessa) Elliott, Devan (Brianna) Elliott, Christian Spickenreuther and Jonathan Spickenreuther; 4 granddaughters, Amanda (David) Hoch, Christina Dassenko, Rachael Elliott and Savannah Spickenreuther; 7 great grandsons and 2 great granddaughters; one sister, Juanita Peterka of Grand Forks; two brothers, Manes Morgan of Pisek and Darren (Janelle) Studney of Grand Forks; 4 nephews, 7 nieces and several cousins.
Preceding her in death was her father, Raymond Morgan; stepfather, Charles Studney; son, Johnnie Ray Spickenreuther and grandson, Stephen Michael Spickenreuther II.
Corrine was a long time resident of Park River where she lived after retiring from her career as a Licensed Social Worker for Walsh County. She graduated from Grand Forks Central High in 1962 and University of North Dakota in 1992.
She loved to garden and enjoyed helping others out whenever she could. She enjoyed garage sales on the weekends. Mostly she enjoyed being around her family.
The visitation is from 10 AM until 11 AM on Saturday October 2, 2021 at Holy Cross Catholic Church in West Fargo. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM on Saturday October 2, 2021 also at Holy Cross Catholic Church in West Fargo. Father Phil Ackerman will be officiating. The burial will be at the Calvary Cemetery in Grand Forks.
