Corice D. Cosgriff

Corice Cosgriff, 96, of Fargo, ND, died Friday, February 9, 2018 at Bethany on 42nd in Fargo.

Corice Day McCarthy was born March 29, 1921 to Jeremiah and Lucille (Hoit) McCarthy. She grew up in Detroit Lakes and graduated from Detroit Lakes High School in 1938.

She married Edward “Pat” Cosgriff Jr. on September 27, 1945 in Detroit Lakes at the Holy Rosary Church. They made their home in Fargo until 1970, when Corice and Pat moved to Florida. Pat died on January 14, 1978. Corice returned to Fargo in 1980.

Corice is survived by her son, John (Patti) Cosgriff, Fargo, ND; brother, Edwin (Georgina) McCarthy, LaGrange, GA; grandchildren, Chelsie (Justin) Wanzek; Brooke (Rick) Ramirez; Dalton Hanson; and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Pat Cosgriff; sons, Rick Cosgriff and Mike Cosgriff; and sister, Jerema Bellefeuille.
