Clifford "Cliff" Schulz
October 19, 1939 — May 29, 2020
Cliff Schulz, 80, Oakes, ND passed away May 29th, 2020 from heart issues and COPD. He is survived by his sons Scott Schulz of West Fargo, ND, Kevin Schulz of Perham, MN, Bryon Schulz (Dawn) of Eyota, MN. He was preceded in death by his wife Bev (Hapala) Schulz and daughter Wendy.
Cliff was born October 19th, 1939 in Kulm, ND. On April 13th, 1961 he married Beverly Hapala and they made their home in Oakes, ND.
Four children were born to this union: Scott, Wendy, Kevin, and Bryon.
Cliff went to school to be a Volkswagen mechanic and worked in Fargo. He worked at numerous repair shops in Fargo and Oakes until starting work at Bobcat in Gwinner, ND. After working for 29 years at Bobcat he retired to slow down. After a few weeks he started working part-time at the landfill in Oakes right up until his death.
Cliff will be remembered for his smile, laugh, his giving spirit and generosity.
Per his wish there will be no funeral. The family will have a private burial at a later date.
Cliff wanted people to honor him by having a cup of coffee and telling a story. Take a SLOW ride, smile, and wave at people you know or do not know and enjoy the view. Life goes by fast, take time to smile and visit with friends every chance you get.
