Christopher J. Savageau, 27, of Fargo passed away on January 2, 2013.
He was born August 10, 1985 at St. John’s Hospital in Fargo, North Dakota. He was the son of Randy Savageau and Michelle (Bill) Waslaski, the brother of Matt (Amanda) Savageau and Nathan (Charlene) Waslaski, and the proud uncle of Carson and Cayden Savageau.
Chris attended and graduated from Pine River/Backus High School. After high school Chris had various jobs before he ended up working with his father at Savageau’s Small Engine Repair. He took great pride in working there and helping out his father.
Chris was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He was a huge NASCAR fan, Kevin Harvick being his favorite driver. He also enjoyed golfing in his spare time.
He had a great sense of humor and had the ability to talk to anyone. He will be missed by all that knew him.
Christopher is survived by his immediate family and his maternal grandparents Doreen and Floyd McLeod. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and great friends.
Christopher was preceded in death by his son, Waylon Marcel Savageau; his paternal grandparents, Delores and Marcel Savageau; and a nephew, Noah Marcel Savageau.
