Cheryl A. Thomas

On Friday, May 31st 2013, at the V.A. Hospital in Fargo, ND, Cheryl Ann Thomas passed away after a short but difficult battle with cancer. She will be greatly missed.

Cheryl started out life on May 18th 1960 in Eau Claire, WI, born to parents Gerald and Elizabeth (Hillestad) House.

Cheryl served our country proudly as a marine from 1977 to 1979.

She single handedly raised her two children, Rosa and Johnathan, in Amenia, ND. She made many sacrifices for her family without complaint. She was always upbeat about the future. She loved spending time in her garden and making fireworks. She was a longstanding member of the Pyrotechnics Guild International.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her brother Newell and her father Gerald House.

Cheryl is survived by her mother Elizabeth House, her brother Mitch House (Luann), and sisters Marcy Zurn (Paul) and Brenda Capozzi, her daughter Rosa Thomas (Adam Grothmann), son Johnathan (Melinda Wyum), and also her beloved grandchildren Adam Jr. and Joel Dellas Grothmann.
