Cheryl Fay Jones

Cheryl Jones, 71, of Fargo, ND, died Monday, January 26, 2015 surrounded by her children at Sanford Health in Fargo.

Cheryl Fay Anderson was born August 24, 1943 to James and Julia (Loberg) Anderson at St. Luke’s Hospital in Fargo, ND. She was the youngest of eight children, growing up and attending schools in Fargo. She worked at NDSU as a cook for the Residence Dining Center for 30 years, retiring from full time work there in 2005.

Cheryl enjoyed being retired for the past ten years spending time with and taking care of her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also liked reading books and cooking for herself and her family.

Cheryl is survived by three children, Ricky Jones, Fargo, ND; Pamela (Robert) Harrison, Otsego, MN; Penny (Gordon) Timmons, Salt Lake City, UT; one sister, Gail (Jerry) Moe, Horace, ND; ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers; and two sisters.
