Charlene Eleanor Chalmers

Charlene E. Chalmers, 75, of Fargo, died Thursday, June 12, 2014 at Sanford Health, Fargo, ND.

Charlene was born March 1, 1939 in McVille, ND to Charles and Ruby (Lovejoy) Chalmers. She attended schools in Aneta, ND. She worked at Cooperstown before moving to Fargo in 1966. She worked at Rosewood on Broadway for 20 years as a nurse’s aide. She was a home health aide and companion for 10 years. She moved to ManorCare in 1997.

Charlene loved reading, embroidery and bowling. She volunteered taking care of the birds at ManorCare and would also help others with marking their bingo cards.

She is survived by her sisters, Marlys (Ervin) Carlson, West Fargo, ND and Karen Bullert, Northwood, ND.

She was preceded in death by her parents and infant brothers, Robert, Vernell, Dennis, LeRoy and Gerald.
