Chad is survived by his children, Nicole Johnson, Melody Simonson, Nicholas Simonson, and Paige Simonson; grandchildren, Beau and Kendall Anderson; sisters, Melissa Troxel and Tonya Simonson; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and grandparents, Andrew and Cecil Simonson; Lloyd and Shirley King.
