Chad Mckibbin

Chad Alan McKibbin, 33, of West Fargo, ND, died Friday, September 26, 2008, in Casselton. Chad was born August 26, 1975, to Dwight and Sarah (Flom) McKibbin in Moorhead, MN. He graduated from Bemidji High School in 1994 and graduated as a journeyman electrician in 2000. He married Randon Jansen on May 19, 2001, in Bemidji, MN. He was a dedicated father from bath time to Doctor’s appointments to gymnastics. He enjoyed spending time with his wife, daughter, family and friends. He enjoyed camping, fishing, snowmobiling, playing softball and boating. He loved watching the Vikings and Nascar races. He was a son, father, husband, brother, uncle that anyone would be proud of. His quick wit and distinctive laugh would light up everyone’s day. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Randon McKibbin and daughter, Abagale Marie McKibbin, of West Fargo, ND; parents, Dwight McKibbin of Houston, TX; and Sarah Flom, of Grand Forks, ND; father and mother-in-law, Dan and Sue Jansen of Bemidji, MN; and Susan and Donnie Moe of Bemidji, MN; grandparents, Maurice and Adeline McKibbin of Maddock, ND; and James Flom of Hatton, ND; grandfather, Ray Willette, St. Paul, MN; grandmother, Rita Jansen, Bemidji, MN; sister, Leah (Jason) McCarthy; sister-in-law, Dannielle Jansen; brothers-in-law, Justin Slagle, Eric Hutkowski and Cory Jansen; nieces and nephews, Chloe, Maxwell and Meredith McCarthy and Dylan Slagle. Chad is preceded in death by his grandmother, Verna Flom; great-grandparents, Ralph and Mabel McKibbin; uncles, Mark McKibbin and Brian McKibbin. Funeral: 2:30 pm, Wednesday, October 1, 2008, at Nativity Catholic Church, Fargo, ND. Visitation: 5 – 7 pm, Tuesday, September 30, 2008, at Hanson Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND.
