Rev. Cecil V. Kramer, Sr., 84, of Fargo, ND, went to be with his Savior on Monday April 1, 2013 at Bethany on University in Fargo. His wife of 53 years met him at heaven’s gate and introduced him to Jesus, the One he had served all of his adult life.
Cecil was born to Curt and Emma (Maisel) Kramer in Dickey, ND on February 6, 1929. He was number 5 of 9 boys in a family of 12 children. He graduated from Dickey High School and served in the Air Force branch of the military. He was stationed in Guam during the Korean conflict. He married Deloris Faye Harp on August 7, 1953. He graduated from Baptist Bible College, Springfield, Missouri in 1954. He was a church planter/minister of the Gospel for over 50 years and served 4 churches in the Midwest. He retired from the Fargo Post Office with 20 years of service. He had been a resident of Bethany Retirement Living for the past 5 years.
Cecil is survived by his son, Cecil Jr. (Cindy) Kramer, Forest VA; daughter, Becky (Chuck) Hanisch, Minneapolis MN; five grandchildren, Kristin (Chris) Waskey, Kyle (Shawna) Kramer, Ryan (Andrea) Hanisch, Derek Hanisch, and Kavin (Caitlin) Kramer; eight great-grandchildren, Kate, Ethan, Jack, Simeon, Chase Waskey, Mackenzie Kramer, Alex and Stella Hanisch; three brothers, Jim, Elton (Bee), and Loren (Buzzy); three sisters, Marion, Elaine, and Ruth (Mitzi), and many extended family members and loving friends.
