Caroline Lindely

Caroline (Lynn) Lindely passed away on June 16, 2010 at Sheyenne Crossings. Caroline was born September 14, 1924 to Ingman and Selma (Pederson) Winslow in Underwood, MN. She grew up and graduated from Battle Lake High School in 1943. She was bookkeeper in Fergus Falls until she married Myron Lindely on October 14, 1946. They lived in Fergus Falls, MN, Devils Lake, ND and moved to Fargo in 1959. Three children were born into this union. A dedicated wife and mother who made every house our home! Lynn was a volunteer at Dakota Hospital (Innovis) for many years, held office and chaired committees at Olivet Lutheran Church for almost 50 years. She was active in the Republican Party, Edgewood Golf Club and bowled in many leagues. She loved to read, cross-stitch, exercise and be with people, especially her granddaughters. Survivors include her children Steven(Betty) Lindely, Fountain Hills, AZ, Mary Lindely (Andi) Long Island, NY and Cheryl Lindely, Fargo, granddaughters Kristine Lindely, Alexandria, VA and Jennifer Mischke(Mark) Wenatchee, WA, two great grandsons Riggs and Jake Mischke and former daughter-in-law and close friend, Sandy Lindely. Caroline was preceded in death by her husband, Myron, her parents and one brother, Irvin Winslow. The family would especially like to thank all of the caregivers, LPN's and Doris Olstad,RN, Dr. Keith Rau and Hospice of the Red River Valley for their care, compassion and support. Funeral: Monday, June 21, 2010, 2:00 PM at Olivet Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND. Visitation: One hour prior to services at Olivet Lutheran Church. Entombment: Riverside Mausoleum, Fargo, ND.
