Carol J. (Wuflestad) Palmer, of Fargo, North Dakota lost her fight with cancer on Friday June 20, 2014 at Bethany on University, surrounded by family and friends. Carol was born on November 28, 1944 in Glendale, California. She was the daughter of Daniel Wuflestad and Doris (Forsgren) Turriff. Carol was raised in Fargo, North Dakota where she attended school and graduated from Fargo Central High School in 1963 and Josefs School of Hair Design in 1965. Carol Wuflestad married Stephen Palmer on March 27, 1965 and they made a home in Fargo, North Dakota for their two children.
Carol was a cosmetologist and worked at Accent on Beauty and New Image Salon for most of her career before retiring. Carol loved to spend time at the lake sketching and painting the outdoor scenery. Carol also enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews teaching them art and doing crafts.
Carol survived by her two children, Kris Palmer-Baumann (Jason) and Dan Palmer; two grandchildren, Skyla Baumann and Kendra Baumann; two sisters, Diane Briggs (John) and Kimbley Hoffart; and family members, Doug McIntyre (Vicki) and Dennis McIntyre. Carol was preceded in death by Daniel Wuflestad (father) and Doris (Forsgren) Turriff (mother); Stephen P. Palmer (husband), and close aunts and uncles.
