Carl “Bunny” Madsen, 90, of Fargo, ND, died peacefully on Sunday, November 18, 2018 at his home.
Carl Bernard Madsen was born July 10, 1928 to Carl and Ethel (Dohman) Madsen in Hunter, ND. He grew up and attended school in Hunter. Carl married Vera Fox on March 17, 1951.
Carl and his brother, Lee, operated and later owned a Texaco service station in north Fargo for many years. Carl went on to work at NDSU in Agronomy. He retired from NDSU after many years and enjoyed the time he could spend golfing, gardening, and bowling.
Carl is survived by his wife, Vera; brother, Lyle Madsen and many nieces, nephews, godchildren, and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; five sisters; three brothers, and his beloved dog, Striker.
Memorials are preferred to Homeward Animal Shelter in Fargo.
