Bryce Arneson

December 31, 1946 — April 1, 2009

Bryce James Arneson, 62, of Fargo, ND, died Wednesday, April 1, 2009, at Prince of Peace Care Center in Ellendale, ND, after a long battle with MS. He was a resident of Rosewood on Broadway and was displaced by the flood (formerly a resident of Elim). Bryce was born December 31, 1946, in Jamestown, North Dakota, to Mary Lou and Bryce Arneson. He served with the 79th Combat Engineers in Germany and Vietnam from 1967-1970. Bryce married Kathie Berge in 1971, in Ypsilanti, North Dakota. They had two children, Derik and Keely. In 1979, Bryce started Building Products, Inc and operated as owner/manager until 1993, when the business was sold. He was a lifetime member of the VFW, was active in MS groups, and enjoyed hunting in his free time. He is survived by his wife, Kathie; son, Derik; daugahter, Keely (Erick) Mortenson; grandson, Nolan Mortenson; sisters, Pam (Greg) Fordyce; Jeanne (Chris) Davis; Susan Arneson; brothers, Tim (Susan) Arneson; Jim (Kris) Arneson; Tom (Diane) Arneson; Paul (Dawn) Arneson; John (Michelle) Arneson; Pat (Tracy) Arneson; aunt, Maggie (Breezy) Burlison; uncle, Jim (Jean) Henry; many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bryce and Mary Lou Arneson; and nephew, Thomas Arneson. If you would like, in lieu of flowers, a memorial donation to the National MS Society in Bryce’s name would be greatly appreciated. Memorial Service: Monday, April 6, 2009, at 11:00 AM, at Hope Lutheran Church – North Campus, Fargo, ND. Visitation: Sunday, April 5, 2009, from 5-7 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND. Prayer Service: Sunday, April 5, 2009, at 7:00 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold. Burial: North Dakota Veteran’s Cemetery, Mandan, ND.
