Bryan Brierley, 90, of Moorhead, died Friday, August 16, 2013 at Eventide Lutheran Home, Moorhead, MN.

Bryan “Bud” Brierley was born August 5, 1923 in Fargo, ND and graduated from Fargo Central High School in 1942. He served in the Navy for three years during WWII. He graduated from North Dakota State University with a Bachelor of Business Science Degree in 1949.

Bryan married Elna Moe on August 18, 1949. They have three children, Bruce (Carol) Brierley in Mesa, AZ, Pamela (David) Mortensen in Chandler, AZ and Diana (Lee) Stewart in Spokane, WA and have six grandchildren.

During his college years he worked in Fargo at Straus Clothing Store. Bryan was in Pharmaceutical sales and retired from Midwest Veterinary Supply Company. He earned numerous awards throughout his career and was well liked by his peers and customers. Over the years Bryan and Elna have lived in Minneapolis, MN; Hutchinson, MN; Des Moines, IA and Moorhead, MN and retired to their lake home on Pelican Lake, MN spending their winters in Gilbert, AZ. He was a longtime member of First Lutheran Church and El Zagal Shrine.
