Bruce Allen Zaeske, 45, of Fargo, ND, died unexpectedly Wednesday, October 1, 2008, at MeritCare Hospital, Fargo. Bruce was born December 13, 1962, to Allen and Charleen (Dauner) Zaeske in Fargo, North Dakota. He graduated from Fargo North High School and attended Minnesota State University-Moorhead and North Dakota State University. He married Lana Klein, his true love, on Friday, September 26, 2008, in Moorhead, Minnesota. Bruce was an outdoorsman. He loved hunting, fishing, and spending time at his Lake Lizzie cabin, snowmobiling, cooking and was an avid Vikings and N.D.S.U. football fan. Bruce was a people person. He is remembered, with love, by all his deep friendships and for his great humor. During his high school and college years, he was employed by the Fargo Park District as a carpenter. He had the good fortune of having Bob Luckow as a mentor. After college, he was employed by Palliser Furniture. For the past 14 years, Bruce was a Buyer at Integrity. Bruce is survived by his wife, Lana; his parents, Allen and Charleen (Dauner) Zaeske; a brother, Kirk, all of Fargo, ND; his in-laws, Donald and Evelyn Klein, Langdon, ND; sister-in-law, Karita Klein, Omaha, NE; brothers-in-law, and their families, Greg Klein, Glyndon, MN; and Troy Klein, McAllen TX. Funeral Service: Monday, October 6, 2008, at 2:00 PM, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, Moorhead, MN. Visitation: Sunday, October 5, 2008, from 5-7 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND, and one hour prior to the service at the church. Prayer Service: Sunday, at 6:00 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold. Entombment: Riverside Mausoleum, Fargo, ND.
