Bruce Satermo

Bruce Alan Satermo, 51, of Fargo, ND died Sunday, April 22, 2012. Bruce was born on June 19, 1960 in Grand Forks, ND to Neva (Dancing Bull) and Dwight Satermo. Due to his father's career, the family moved often but Bruce's fondest memories were of his years in Cavalier, ND. He graduated from High School there in 1978 and attended NDSU. Bruce's career was in the hospitality industry. He enjoyed fishing, reading, playing chess and cards with his family. He loved the Minnesota Twins, the Vikings and the NDSU Bison. His family, friends and colleagues treasured his smile, sense of humor and his kindness. He will be dearly missed by all of his nephews and nieces who each believed that they were his favorite. Bruce is survived by his mother Neva Satermo, Fargo; sister Joyce Leigh, Colorado Springs, CO; sister Barbara (Greg) Mayo, Cavalier, ND; brother Scott (Lisa) Satermo and sister Lisa Ann Satermo all of Fargo, ND; nine nieces and nephews: David, Heather, Matthew, Erin, Angela, Michelle, Amanda, Jackson and Jacob; uncles, aunts and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Dwight Satermo. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home.
