Bruce Meyer

Bruce Allen Meyer, 55, of Atlanta, GA, formerly of Fargo, ND, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 6, 2007. Bruce was a beloved husband, devoted father and cherished brother, son and friend, who enjoyed the outdoors, sporting events and spending time with family and friends. He was a caring, loving and generous person. Bruce worked in the hospitality industry for 30 years, was a member of the Board of Directors for the National Cystic Fibrosis Foundation for 11 years, the Optimist Club for 10 years and Council Member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church. He actively sponsored league softball and volleyball teams while living in Fargo. He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Meyer. He is survived by his wife, Judy, Atlanta, GA; daughters, Kim and Kari Meyer, Atlanta, GA; father, Melvin J. Meyer, Fargo, ND; sister, Judy (Lowell) Christenson, O’Fallon, IL; brothers, Gary (Marlene) Meyer, Fargo and Curt Meyer (Onie Loeks), West Fargo, ND; and a host of extended family and friends. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2007, at 2 PM, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 670 4th Ave. N., Fargo, ND. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 12, 2007, from 5-7 PM, followed by a Prayer Service at 7 PM, at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, 215 S. 7th St., Fargo, ND.
