Bonna Rae "Bonnie" Sondeland, 86, Fargo, ND died on December 2, 2024 at home surrounded by her children.

Bonna Rae Duff was born May 2, 1938 to Walter and Blanche (Levang) Duff of Hoople, ND. She was baptized and confirmed in the Hoople Lutheran Church and graduated from Hoople High School in 1956.

On July 14, 1956 she was united in marriage to Duane Sondeland of Grafton, ND. Together they had three children: David, Julie and Debra. Duane passed away in 2013.

Bonnie was known for her love of her family and grandchildren. She always liked to have, "a project" to do and was very energetic. She was a planner, was organized and was always early to any event. She enjoyed being outside and spent many hours in her yard. She loved watching sports of all kinds, especially football.

Bonnie is survived by her son David of Fargo, daughters, Julie (David) Rydell of Fargo, and Debra (Patrick) Nordick of Perham, MN; nine grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and her sister Kathleen Duff of West Fargo, ND.

Bonnie was preceded in death by husband Duane, parents, Walter and Blanche Duff and brother Arthur Duff.

Bonnie was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church of Fargo, ND.

Memorial Service: 11:30am, Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at Hanson-Runsvold Funeral Home, Fargo, ND with a visitation one hour prior. The service will be livestreamed on the funeral home website.

Burial will take place at a later date at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Wahpeton, ND
