Bonnie Provencher, 82, of Fargo, ND passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2008. Bonnie was born August 4, 1926 to John and Ellen Dahlgren in Hector, MN. She graduated from the University of Minnesota with a Bachelors degree in Music Education. Bonnie married Neill Provencher June 21, 1952. They lived in St. Paul until moving to Fargo in 1962. She was a member of Chapter Y, PEO; Epsilon C Province, Sigma Alpha Iota; and an active member of the Fine Arts Club. She was an avid bridge player and long time member of Elim Lutheran Church. Bonnie is survived by her children Polly Williams, St. Paul, MN; Kim (Bob) Parker, Mt. Sterling, KY; Jon (Sue Falldin) Provencher, Minneapolis, MN; brother Dean Dahlgren, St. Paul, MN; three grandchildren, Matthew, Christopher, and Ellen; along with very special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters Helen Lou Melberg and Phyllis May Hampton, and two brothers Donald and James. Memorials preferred to the Neill Provencher Memorial for Dollars for Scholars. Funeral: Tuesday, December 2, at 1:00 p.m., Elim Lutheran Church, Fargo, ND. Visitation: Monday, December 1 from 5-7 with short prayer service following at Hanson Runsvold Funeral Home. Burial: Riverside Cemetery, Fargo, ND.
